Main Street has a great strip of independent retailers. Zettler Hardware has helped me out all year long. They have some info on their website ZettlerHardware.com. I've been able to pick up everything from a snow shovel to a garden hose nozzle to tomato cages for my garden to pumpkins to carve for halloween! Great to be able to buy this stuff so close to home from a family owned business. And parking in the lot next door is much easier than parking at Lowes! ;)

I love to go to the Peanut Shoppe on High Street Downtown! It's like stepping back in time. It reminds me of going to the candy counters at the big department stores when I was a kid. I love to take my 12 year old niece there - and she would love to see High School Musical on Ice too!

I have 2 favorite stores in Downtown Columbus. The 1st one has just recently closed. It was The Childrens Place. I have worked downtown for 18 years. My oldest son is 15 (youngest is 5) and I used to buy baby clothes for him there. My best friend and I used to do a lot of Christmas shopping on our lunch hour at the City Center too! My other favorite store is Chet's Jewelers! The women that own that store are the sweetest ever. I have shopped there periodically since I started at Ohio Bell (now AT&T) in 1990. I love the small family owned businesses.

Please add me to the drawing to win High School Musical on ice tickets.

I can't wait to browse the handmade crafts at some of the upcoming craft events for some delightful holiday gifts for my friends and family. I also like to order online and obsessively track my packages until they arrive at my doorstep.
