Building Blocks: Towering Residences

Sales are set to begin next month for The Condominiums at North Bank Park, the Arena District’s newest and glitziest housing development by Nationwide Realty Investors, near the corner of Spring Street and Neil Avenue. The demand for Arena District living space has surpassed expectation, according to Brian J. Ellis, NRI president and COO. “The Condominiums at North Bank Park will present additional options for those who want to be within walking distance of the park space, entertainment and dining options here,” he said. In addition to a fitness room, theater, close proximity to walking and bike paths, and a 10-year tax abatement, the Arena District development offers two very different space options: a brand-new 20-story tower made of glass and steel, or lofts in a refurbished warehouse. The 80-year-old former A&P warehouse will be along more urban loft lines. Its 21 one- and two-bedroom units will have distressed wood floors, exposed brick and flexible floor plans. Attached to it will be a brand-new glass and steel tower with 88 two- and three-bedroom units. They’ll have 1,600-2,800 square feet and high-end appointments such as floor-to-ceiling windows and generous balconies for maximum skyline-viewing pleasure. Lofts sales are set to start April 17, and tower sales will begin May 1. Occupancy for both will be next year. For more information, call 221- 9900 or visit www.NorthBankCondos.com.
