The RiverSouth community is well on its way to becoming a full-scale neighborhood.

Lifestyle Communities now calls Downtown Columbus “home” in more ways than one.  It moved its business headquarters here, and it will soon offer fabulous affordable apartments and condominiums built right for young professionals. Construction on the project began in June 2008 in the RiverSouth District along Front Street between Town and Rich Streets.

Priced right, the apartments rent for around $750-$1,985 per month. Those prices include rooftop terraces and privileged access to a central plaza and more than 300 parking spaces.

Within walking distance from these homes will be the beautiful Main Street Bridge, The Lazarus Building (and its OSU Art Gallery), and soon to be Scioto Mile and Columbus Commons.

For those who prefer to drive, the RiverSouth Parking Garage, at the corner of Front and Rich Street, is already finished with ample parking for residents and the public

In addition the City will begin the next phase of converting streets from 1-way to 2-way this summer, with completion expected in early 2010. Road Conversions around RiverSouth will include:

  • Front Street (Broad to Rich)
  • Ludlow Street (Town to Rich)
  • Wall Street (Town to Rich)
  • Rich Street (High to Ludlow)
