Huntington Park

Playing ball is about to get a lot more fun for the Columbus Clippers — and their fans.

Construction of a 10,000-seat stadium located in downtown’s Arena District at the corner of Nationwide Boulevard and Neil Avenue is set to be completed by the 2009 season opener.

The Columbus Clippers Triple-A professional baseball team will join the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL hockey team to create a 12-month hub of sports activity in the already-booming Arena District.

Huntington Park is just another example of a successful commitment by both public and private sectors to fund and support growth and development in Downtown Columbus.
