Fourth & Elm Parking Garage
Create more downtown parking options.
That is a top need from business leaders. One solution is the proposed 682-space parking garage at the corner of Fourth and Elm Streets to ease the parking situation created by projects such as Neighborhood Launch, the residential neighborhood near Fourth and Gay Streets.
Construction of the Fourth & Elm Parking Garage has begun and will continue until the end of 2009. This is following suit with the already-under-construction RiverSouth Parking Garage.
Capitol South and the City of Columbus have a joint agreement to facilitate the design of and land acquisition for both the Fourth & Elm Parking Garage and the RiverSouth Parking Garage, which is located near The Lazarus Building.
