At first blush, it would be easy to think that Columbus’s core is downtown-as-usual, only with a little more dust and a lot more construction equipment.

But a bird’s-eye view of downtown-to-come reveals something bigger. Something much, much bigger.

Downtown is in the thick of progress, moving onward and forward for the better, toward becoming a standout center city near homes, businesses, parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, everything that’s happening.

With current construction projects like the Scioto Mile, Huntington Park and the Downtown Alternative High School, Downtown Columbus is painting itself a new canvas of development and change — for good.
