Public Meeting #2
Introduction
Input from the first public meeting helped the planning team to identify shared community goals and opportunities. This input is embodied in the 10 Principles and 12 Ideas that were developed for the second public meeting held April 15. Click to view presentation (Principles, Ideas Part I + Ideas Part II).
10 PRINCIPLES
The 10 Principles were created to cohesively and comprehensively express the community’s goals and vision for Downtown Columbus. These principles serve as the foundation for each of the 12 Ideas for Downtown and will directly inform the resulting policies and strategies that are created as the plan is implemented.
12 IDEAS
The 12 Ideas are intended to inspire Columbus to think big and bring people together around common goals and projects. We have the opportunity take action that will help Columbus not only catch up with its peer cities, but that will also set it apart from the competition. These 12 Ideas have been derived from public input and discussions with local officials and business leaders over the past few months.
