Donation Drive to support homeless shelters during winter overflow

As summer winds down and the colder weather sets in, the Downtown homeless shelters prepare for their busiest months of the year. Every year from October 15 through April 15, the homeless shelters go into "winter overflow" months. They will expand their residential capacity so that people without housing can stay in a warm, safe place and utilize supportive services offered by the shelters

To assist the shelters during this time of need, Capital Crossroads SID coordinates a donation drive to collect much needed supplies for the shelters.

All donations are provided directly to Faith Mission, Friends of the Homeless, and the Engagement Center at Maryhaven.
